The Siege of Paramar V began under a sky ablaze with the fiery descent of loyalist forces. This strategically vital forge world, located within the Ultima Segmentum, became a focal point of conflict as the Horus Heresy raged on. The Iron Hands, Dark Angels, and Imperial Fists, each bearing the scars of previous battles, converged to reclaim the planet from the traitorous forces of the Warmaster Horus. Commander Hektor Valens of the Iron Hands orchestrated the initial assault. Driven by the memory of Istvaan V and the loss of their Primarch Ferrus Manus, the Iron Hands launched a brutal ground offensive, tearing into the Warmaster's forces entrenched across Paramar V.
Simultaneously, the Imperial Fists fortified their positions under Captain Marcus Tyrell’s command, holding the line to prevent enemy reinforcements from overwhelming their allies.
Above the battlefield, the Dark Angels, led by Interrogator-Chaplain Gideon Thorne, provided critical aerial support and rapid strikes. Their Ravenwing bikers and Deathwing Terminators executed precision attacks that sowed chaos among the enemy ranks.
The battle’s climax centered around the planet's primary forge complex. Amidst a maelstrom of fire and blood, the loyalist Legions fought their way to the heart of the forge, where a cadre of Dark Mechanicum Magi, hidden and operating within the depths, were attempting to corrupt the massive plasma reactor. In a final, desperate push, Commander Valens led his forces to disrupt the heretical ritual, but the outcome of the battle hung in the balance.
As the loyalists clashed with the Warmaster's forces, a sudden counteroffensive threatened to overwhelm them. Warhound Titans walked with knight maniples, bearing the iconography of the Traitors, emerged from hidden silos, their weapons unleashing devastation upon the loyalist ranks.
Caught off guard, the Iron Hands, Dark Angels, and Imperial Fists found themselves pushed back, their forces fragmented and struggling to hold their ground. As night fell on Paramar V, the outcome of the Siege remained uncertain.
The loyalist Legions, battered but unbroken, rallied for a desperate last stand against the relentless onslaught of the Warmaster's forces. The fate of the forge world hung in the balance, its future to be determined by the resolve and sacrifice of those who fought upon its scarred surface.
